Health and Safety

I have sent the final section for the health and safety,part of the Presentation. The group will take a look at it and give me some feedback, if I should add anything else, i think I have covered most of the points, most of my research I got of the internet and the previous Risk assessments that we filled from last year.

I'm dreading that the snow will fail to bring me back to Bradford as I've planned. Hopefully everything would go as planned.

It has been looong

Merry Christmas to everyone.
I havent been here for a long time, I left Uk the 16 so I didnt catch the last tutorial and the last meeting,. However, Im still keeping in touch with my crew. Almost finished the Haleth and Safety part for the Presentation. I'm contemplating if I should write about every single point that has to be taken care of legally or consider the fact that we are students, and its a student project.
Hopefully Marina have posted the mintues and the points that were discussed in the turorial, so I can catch up. Will carry on with some work and keep in touch.

Web design

I have been altering the website in photoshop to show Hancock the differnet changes this is my final one we had a meeting with Dave Robison he suggested very good ideas to extend the website.
# Put the trailer on the homepage
# still keep the crew page, but add it seperatly as a About us page.
#perhaps re-direct or add an forum/discussion board.

Reflection

This week I have been working on a Web design to show Hancock and to help him designing the template
I sketched out an outline so that Hancock could understand the user generated web design and the purpose and the context for the different applications.
I have also done a lot of research on documentaries and albinism, I have found some very interesting film festivals that would be perfect submitting our documentary, I have also found a commissioning website that explains the need for multi platform documentaries in 2010.

Meeting 6

Meeting 30 November Meeting 6

Today we had a relatively brief meeting; Hancock had done a web design for the website and a personnel schedule. Chris brought his questioner.

*We discussed the changes to Hancocks website, I made some comments to the design layout .

*We also discussed the changes to for the personnel schedule

*We planned to go out on Sunday the 6 December to ask about the project and get back some feedback from the people in Leeds.

*Marina would work and alter the schedule and the task outline and post it on the Blackboard.

Meeting 5

After our Tutorial we had a meeting about the changes, that we had to make.

• I took the Health and Safety package for the presentation, and Hancock took the Personnel behind and in front of camera.
• We discussed and planned the survey will post it as soon as I can.
• We planned the new dates for the allocated tasks for the presentation, and the report.

Tutorial 2

In todays tutorial with Ali we discussed

• The allocated tasks for the Group report and the Presentation.

- WE were contemplating if Hancock should cover the area Health and Safety, maybe its not his strong subject?

• Press pack, we have brake down the Press pack into sections so it would be more efficient to work on.

• Do we have enough contributors for our project and if so do we have the ones we want, i.e interesting, intriguing, relevant for the [point of view that we are focusing on.
• Would we approach an adviser to advice, (not collaborate) with, and if we wish to do that then would be more suitable.
• Are question regarding the test screen was;

We have to screen it for a small target audience, (our target audience), however if it was a Documentary aimed at a certain channel the test screen would be for the commissioners to view.

• The Survey, can be anything really as long as we get out there and ask peoples opinion and get feedback i .e Facebook, google, blogs etc
• The schedule for our deadlines with in the group was advised to a week before, before christmas the outlines would be finished, which would prepare all of us more. As we only have 4 days before the presentation.

I think that was last thing on the agenda:) will add if I missed anything.

Meeting 4

Hello:)

I will just do a quick recap of today's meeting.

* We allocated the different subjects of the Group essay

Assessment will be based on:
Clarity of synopsis, nature and purpose of product	10%
A full treatment with details of structure, content, style, characters/ contributors and locations	50%
Evaluation, definition and description of the target audience or market/client and means of testing and feedback	15%
Cross-platform strategy	15%
Presentation of report: layout, spelling and grammar	10%

I will post the schedule with names and the dates.

* We made a list of what to ask A.R, during the tutorial
-How to publish the treatment
-Group Presentation
-Test audience
-Evidence of the market research.

* We also discussed the delegated roles for post-Production.

"Meeting" 3

After the Tutorial we establishes that we would have to give each member of the group a certain area of the Pre-Production assessment. Its more efficient and then all of us are contributing.

We reschedules the meeting on Monday and Marina is going to plan which subject that each team member will do.

We got some positive response to our emails, Rob Crossan from Ouch was willing to contribute, in London.
Robin Spinks was very positive about our proposal. :)
