Meeting 5

After our Tutorial we had a meeting about the changes, that we had to make.

• I took the Health and Safety package for the presentation, and Hancock took the Personnel behind and in front of camera.
• We discussed and planned the survey will post it as soon as I can.
• We planned the new dates for the allocated tasks for the presentation, and the report.

Tutorial 2

In todays tutorial with Ali we discussed

• The allocated tasks for the Group report and the Presentation.

- WE were contemplating if Hancock should cover the area Health and Safety, maybe its not his strong subject?

• Press pack, we have brake down the Press pack into sections so it would be more efficient to work on.

• Do we have enough contributors for our project and if so do we have the ones we want, i.e interesting, intriguing, relevant for the [point of view that we are focusing on.
• Would we approach an adviser to advice, (not collaborate) with, and if we wish to do that then would be more suitable.
• Are question regarding the test screen was;

We have to screen it for a small target audience, (our target audience), however if it was a Documentary aimed at a certain channel the test screen would be for the commissioners to view.

• The Survey, can be anything really as long as we get out there and ask peoples opinion and get feedback i .e Facebook, google, blogs etc
• The schedule for our deadlines with in the group was advised to a week before, before christmas the outlines would be finished, which would prepare all of us more. As we only have 4 days before the presentation.

I think that was last thing on the agenda:) will add if I missed anything.

Meeting 4

Hello:)

I will just do a quick recap of today's meeting.

* We allocated the different subjects of the Group essay

Assessment will be based on:
Clarity of synopsis, nature and purpose of product	10%
A full treatment with details of structure, content, style, characters/ contributors and locations	50%
Evaluation, definition and description of the target audience or market/client and means of testing and feedback	15%
Cross-platform strategy	15%
Presentation of report: layout, spelling and grammar	10%

I will post the schedule with names and the dates.

* We made a list of what to ask A.R, during the tutorial
-How to publish the treatment
-Group Presentation
-Test audience
-Evidence of the market research.

* We also discussed the delegated roles for post-Production.

"Meeting" 3

After the Tutorial we establishes that we would have to give each member of the group a certain area of the Pre-Production assessment. Its more efficient and then all of us are contributing.

We reschedules the meeting on Monday and Marina is going to plan which subject that each team member will do.

Contributors
We got some positive response to our emails, Rob Crossan from Ouch was willing to contribute, in London.
Robin Spinks was very positive about our proposal. :)

First Tutorial

Today we had our first Tutorial with Ali, I will break the Tutorial into parts.

1. Ali gave us some feedback on our treatment and how to approach future Contributors and Clients

2.We discussed our delegated production roles and came to an agreements that Marina would be the Producer and Matthew take on the Directing.

3.We clearly focused to much on the Production part when we should have planned and scheduled the Development and the Pre-Production stage.

The following assessments is what we have to hand in and focus on before Production.

· Nature and Purpose of programme/film/multi-media product
· A treatment of the project with details of structure, content & style
· Implicit and explicit messages (if any)
· Contributors or actors, other personnel and locations
· Evidence of market research and why it appeals to target audience
· Time, Slot, Channel
· Approach to cross-platform media
· “Commissioners” for feedback
· Test Audience – details of approach and method
· Proposals for any external consultants to assist

We also have plan the presentation that will be on the 13 of January 2010.

· Full details of required production & post-production resources
· Full itemised budget showing intended actual expenditure
· Details of human resources with names and contact points
· Full time-schedule for production and post-production
· Health and Safety of production and locations

Finished Treatment

Hello Everyone
I got the finished treatment and the media form from Matthew yesterday, Marina is prepearing the paperwork for tomorrows Tutorial with Ali.

Treatment

Matthew is still working on the Treatment seeing as it will take more time
to finish the treatment, it is very crucial for us too be as straight forward as possible with the Treatment.

He said that he will send out a shorter treatments for now because we have only limited time to get in contact with the Fellowship about the event in Chester.

Development ( Second Meeting)

I don't know if you guys will check on this site but it helps me
to look back and plan ahead.
We have established our roles just putting them down so everybody knows:

*Matthew - Producer
*Marina - Camera and Director
*Chris - sound and editor
*Hancock - Second camera, editor
*Vivien - Production Manager and reporter

During Pre production Chris will gather most of the Information. "Researcher"
I think all of us will take a look on the web.

Today we just established the contributors that we have and Matthew will finish the treatment with Marinas Power point as a guideline. Then we can sent the treatment out to possible experts and contributors.

Still awaiting the answer from the Fellowship event in Chester.

I checked online for some further information and I came across some interesting complains, about the perception of Albinos in the media, Film and Television.
